Trying to connect a nasa ais to northstar chart-plotter, i put a post on here for help and was told that i should get a y cable which i now have , unfortunately it came with no instructions so I'm back for help please. the cable i have has one female type lead coming from one side which looks like it would go to the plotter, from the other side there are three leads two with male 8 pin plugs on ( one yellow one white) and one lead with no plug, i assume i need to cut the lead from the ais and connect to one of these three, but which one? and how? thanks in advance for your help, bob
