This Morning I had to change a fuel filter.
Whilst arriving in Porth Dinllaen for the Piss Up, oops sorry the North Wales Meet!
BRIZA 'Mucky Fartered' a bit.
So, Hmm, thought I, have to change The Filt before I go back.
Anyway I had injured My right arm (more on that as the North Wales Meet posts develope) and they will!

Apart from rescueing My dinghy (More of that as the North Wales meet posts develope) and they will!

Lambada, at a very early Hour this AM, Volunteered to help Me with The Task.

I was Stymied/ Snookered / Knackesaki'd!

He didn't help Me.
He did the Job!
And it ain't any easy job on BRIZA.

Taint really a job for an Old F"rt like Me anyway.
The filt is akward, no, very akward to sort.
Involves bending the Human frame in a way it aint meant to be bent.
Involves getting diesel on the Person and the Person's attire.

Plus Lambada needed an early start Today to meet His Daughter on Her way back from Uni.

So getting involved and getting to know My bilge intimately was not on His Agenda at all.
This Weekend some Good Peeps met up.
Lambada also helped during the 'North Wales meet Dinghy Chase'

This was an unplanned Event.
More of that as the Noth Wales meet posts develope (and they will) So Thanks again Mate.
That was a huge help.
BRIZA ran back perfectly.
There are some Great peeps on this Forum.
You are one of them Mate.
More of that as the North Wales meet post develope (and they will) what a weekend. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
What a Great Guy Lambada is.
Hey up I hope June was not too put out when You borded your boat smelling like a bilge rat!
Thanks again /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

S@d off Kwack, just imagine if everybody that you helped made a "public thanks" to you, it would be the most boring forum and people would be cutting their wrists.
Just read about Take 5s incident and now i'm feeling guilty about cutting and running so early, hope they bounce back, they are nice people and meeting people like them is one of the reasons we do what we do.
Hope your arm gets better soon, could see you were in a bad way mate.
Andy

Not the old "I can't open me wallet coz of me bad arm" trick again /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Erm, I'm a bit embarrassed here, as having delivered Take 5 to the beach to pick up his tender and inflatable floor which was half way up the cliff, I went over to investigate the other tender, which was at least 200 metres off shore. But I thought it was attached to a big yellow buoy, but not only that, it was so filthy I didn't think it could possibly belong to any of the distinguished forumites gathered nearby.

I went back to Take 5 who, with the help of a dog walker, was trying to remove half a ton of water from his tender. He was struggling in the surf, but there was little I could do without getting flooded myself.

I looked back at the other tender and saw it was only twenty feet offshore and that someone else was making a bee line to it. I was closer so I opened the throttle and went for it. I just got hold of it before the surf swallowed it, but as I was trying to pull it free, I lost grip and a wave took it. The other rescuer - yes, it was he, Lambada Superman - rushed in jumped out of his boat, grabbed the other tender and managed to get both back offshore.

All this he did with no kill cord! As that had been lost earlier, along with his oars - me and Take 5 found one of them.

No, the injury was caused during the wallet opening procedure.

But, give him due, did buy me half a pint and gave it me in a pint pot, so's I wouldn't spill any of it.

Ended up in hauling kegs of beer around all afternoon !!!

Great afternoon and really good to see you all - cheers .

Thank you for that picture. He claimed he couldn't lift his right hand above the level of his elbow, due to this 'injury'.

I had thought it was a 'Sampson' disability caused by the haircut, but am Delilah'd to see he was okay before the arm raising (or lack of it) demonstration.

Note to self. Pull tummy in before having pic taken.
