Any thoughts on the best Marina in North Wales for keeping a Merry Fisher in the water over the winter months .Caernarfon or Port Dinorwic.Which is least hassle, safest (weather and kids )and most accesible.
thanks

Ah but at Pd you can turn left or right.
Still get to Caernarfon.
Or Menai Bridge.
In the Basin on neeps 24/7 access to the Sea/Straits.
In the "Inner Bit" 3.5 hours access
IE access is more available at PD.
ok Caernarfon has shops and stuff nearer but if yer wants to get afloat PD is better.
Prevailing N westerlies paricularly in the Winter tend to make the tother end of the Straits more attractive.
Menai, Beaumaris, Puffin, Moelfre side more likely to be accesible during the Winter, cept the occasional nasty easterly blow.

Plus that's where I am and one of My Breakfast Sarnies on the odd accasion when its too sh"t to venture out will save the Day. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Not so many shops, well save a few quid then.
Got to admit, some good watering holes in Caernarfon.
Gardd Fon in PD.
L,pool Arms and two other good uns in Menai, tie up on the Pier!
Great Pizza Takeaway and Delivery to Your Boat in PD or Menai Pier (wonder who runs that then?!!) Tee Hee! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Nice Winter Haven PD I reckon
