North Sea to Black Sea Mast Transport

The clue is in the title,

has anybody done this trip and found a way of getting their mast reliably moved by courier down to a port on or nearby to the Black Sea? I assume that it would involve a few months secure storage given the length of the trip.

A friend is looking at the journey and would prefer to do it without a big ali stick getting in the way for several months.

It's hard enough getting a mat transported fro the Channel to french Med coast - a commonplace trip.
I'd suggest posting on a Bulgarian or Romanian site.
I've asked my Romanian friend Kristos and he's amazed anyone is so effete as to not transport his own mast, down the Danube. He did suggest trying one of the big peniche which do the trip but, as he pointed out, it's an uncommon request and would have to be negotiated on the spot
