Does anyone know of / can recommend a British surveyor who works in Normandy - boat is in Carentan. Thanks in anticipation.

I am sure they do but they probably speak more french than english. My french is not up to technical talk & I would not wish to translate a report for my insurance co - particularly if there are contentious recommendations. Hence my search for an expat. I suppose I will end up funding a cross channel trip for a uk - based surveyor.

You might be surprised.
Had a very good experience in Holland last year.
Top notch surveyor at bargain basement price. Thorough & everything in English.
When I'm in France I'm always impressed that so many people are able to speak English.
