Those of you have been following our trials and tribulations know that we finally got the corsair "Moonshine" at Easter. (Thanks again scanmar for the champagne)
David Hardy from T******** yachts (no advertising here!) picked her up for us today and would you believe it, it turns out she is the boat used for the corsair brochure 18 yrs ago with a photo of him sailing her on the back cover. We are stilll trying to work out who has faired the best over the years.I think the boat is just ahead.

If anyone wants to moan or gripe I don't care today because she is finally ours.
So there.

That\'s great news

Have you sold your houses yet? We have a room full of bits (solar panels, ssb, 23ft antenna, water generator, wind generator, giant emergency pumb on aluminium platform, series drogue (yet to be made), we need to finish painting outside of house and then we can start on the boat but we have to be out by 18 May, at least husband retires on 19 April, so things should start to speed up then. We are hoping to bring boat to Port Solent first week in May.

Thanks Buck,

Feel much happier now, It was all getting a bit sureal, nice messages and all that.
Looks like we are not doing the ARC now. Instead we are going to do the Bluewater rallies Biscay leg in July, much more realistic time plan for us, and then
the Antigua rally from Gib in October.
Norma , know how you feel, got stuff all over the place now.Got a bargain Rutland at Shampton boat jumble. Off this weekend to do SSB course with yachtcom.
