I have a Land Rover Discovery Tdi which I use to tow a small boat on a trailer. It has two electric sun roofs and they both leak water when it rains. The Land Rover dealers are not very interested and they asked £150 minimum just to look at it, the repairs are extra and no guarantee. The seals are in good order, the drains are clear; so I was wondering if any one out there had a similar problem. Is this a common problem?

It's a Land Rover what do you expect? Any boattie will tell you to get a tube of Sikkaflex [spelling], fixes everything that leaks, except the stern gland. Roof may not open again, but it will not leak

I'm not familiar with the Discovery but often sunroofs will leak because the vehicle is parked on a particular slope. Is that the case? Also, how did you ascertain that the drain tubes were clear? Sometimes it's possible for them to pull off their spouts at each corner of the sunroof aperture. They still appear to be clear but are obviously not taking the water away. Finally, are you certain it's coming in via the sunroof(s)?
