I think we should put it to the vote:

Should the be a renaming ceremony - Twister Ken ---- non Twister Ken?
Has anyone ever seen this mystery craft – Two scuttlebutt tours now to France, no twister again this time..

Oh and by the way, as for Tome, well, I noticed his slip showing and a blister where the sling backs had rubbed his heels. Darts indeed!! Tarts more like, disgraceful.

Perhaps it's a virtual yacht - but then again, she didn't feature on the Cherbourg cyber-cruise. The mystery deepens.

I do seem to recall seeing the real Indigo, on my way down the Beaulieu River earlier in the summer - perhaps she'd come on a visit to pay homage to the original Twister of Mersea, which is moored near Ginn's Farm. I couldn't quite make out the lettering, but, unless my eyes deceived me, the owner seemed to be wearing a t-shirt that read "My other yacht is a First 47.7". /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Can't comment on Tome's dress sense, but slingbacks can be tricky on a broad reach.

That's not quite fair Ian.

I did see Indigo briefly on the 2003 running of event - it's just that she was sailing the wrong way...

Nice boat.

When are you getting her back, you must be going nuts by now!

Re: Speaking late night Emsworthian

I have actually seen this boat in the flesh (as you might say) - and she is rather pretty. However, I didn't see the owner of the vessel in question at the same time.

There is no doubt in my mind (at least) that the boat exists, the question is "is it Kens' boat?"

Regards (a very tired),
Jeff.
