I'm planning to bring our 1.2m draught cruiser upriver to Shepperton for a visit. With that in mind, I'd be grateful for advice/tips on the following:

1. Timing of approach (wrt HW) to Teddington Lock
2. Available depth on approach to Teddington
3. Available depth of water Teddington to Shepperton
4. Available depth of water upstream of Shepperton
5. How long for section from Richmond/Teddington to Shepperton?

TIA

No problem with depth.
You may as well come up on the tide as you need to be sure the barrier is open at Richmond (+ or - 2 hours HT Richmond, which is 1 hour later than London Bridge)
Teddington to Shepperton, just two locks, 1½ to 2 hours probably.

As you come through Tedders , ask us for a User Guide.

Gives you distances , and times between points so you can plan your journey.

Also has a little section about mean depths on each section of the river.

When are you planning to do this trip ?
