If you do not have an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod) you cannot use the 'Hey Siri' shortcuts I recently uploaded to the River Thames Guide App support site.
However, the same site also explains how to get email alerts when the conditions change in one or more river stretches (a stretch being between two adjacent locks).
Just go to the site, select 'Tools' and 'Email Alerts' for full instructions and download links.
