Having successfully found a supplier for the float needle valve on my Suzuki 7.5 hp outboard I thoroughly cleaned the carb and all jets before reassembly.
The engine will not start except from adding easy start but it will only run whilst spraying.
This suggests that no fuel is present but on checking the carb has fuel in it.
Have been told that there may be "valve" in the inlet manifold which is preventing a vacuum to draw the fuel through.
Have not heard of this does anyone know I f this engine which is from 1978 has such a valve.
Does anyone have a picture of it as I do not have a manual for this motor
Any advice or information appreciated.
