Most times when raising the anchor, it comes up wrong way round, and the only way we can turn it to the correct position is for SWMBO to lean out and prod it with the boathook. This often requires several attempts.

I believe there is a special swivel available to overcome this but can't see it listed anywhere. Would appreciate any pointers and, more important to those who have one: do they work?

Many thanks for your input.

Here it is, and yes, it does work nicely.
It just requires a little bit of care when lifting the hook (if it comes up the wrong way) at the last moment - i.e., just recover the chain slowly, in short bursts, to give it a moment to turn the anchor gently.
Not because it doesn't work if you just keep retrieving the chain as you normally would, but by doing it carefully you avoid the risk of the anchor "jumping" while it turns, potentially hitting/ruining the hull.
