Non boaty how to stop the adverts

I had the devil of "pop up" problems, not one but loads of windows would open until my PC locked up.
I tried the anti pop up software, no joy, then downloaded & used this:

and it found that I had loads of Spyware on my PC - it got rid of all the stuff in the registry that went off looking for the advert sites all by itself!!

I used Ad-aware which does much the same and is available as a free download here http:// [url]http://www.webattack.com/get/adaware.shtml [/url] also have a look at http:// [url]www.scumware.com [/url]

I d/loaded the software and all went well until I tried to log back on here and I'm non compas mentus again.
It appears that spybot has killed me as far as this site is concerned. I'm operating on a temp pass word again.
I'm starting to run out of names I can call myself<s> No don't reply to that!
I think I will have to shout for Kims help again.

<thought>... I'm glad I can drive a boat better than a 'puter.
