or in the marina frankly!

I am at anchor in Newtown Ck and its bloody noisy - yacht close by has haliyards flapping, ca'nt they hear this racket O/B?

another raggie is about a cable down wind with a propeller type wind generator Whoosh ruddy whoosh. These are a PITA in the marine too, as until recently, the bloke on the pontton next to my berth had one of these and it made even more noise as it was up wind of my berth normally. I think these things have brake so that you can 'switch them off' but No lets be a pest 24/7

Feel like undoing my nice silent underwater genny exhaust and let the anchorage have blast at lunchtime. Revenge will be sweet :-)

Best drive over and ask them nicely, like i did in the rib at 3am. They can definitely hear these things on board but are possibly deaf or daft or both. If they don't see your point, whirling round them is satisfying, either in the rib, or the next morning on big boat during exit.

Another option is earplugs i suppose...

Yep I with you on this MJF, halyards flapping is my number one annoyance, always yachts in marinas next to me. I noticed in the MDL Terms they are supposed to tie together the halyards.
