I have an E90W and GPS 130 from Raymarine. The first GPS failed and they gave me a new one. The other day l went to fire it up and no GPS signal to the screen and no satellites being found. I rang Raymarine who went through a turn off turn on routine with the backbone and after a while this worked. So far so good.
Today I turned the unit on and no GPS again. The red/orange light comes on and flickers but no satellites come up on the unit. What's going on? Everything is new, cables, backbone, 5 way switch etc....has anyone else had this as a problem?
I have the GPS attached via a T piece, so white GPS cable into T Piece, this has a blue end piece and then the blue cable out of the other end that goes to the 5 way connector, into the blue end bit. The black and white cable comes from this to the E90W. There must be power as the light on top of the GPS unit comes on.
Any ideas?
