My AIS700 always worked fine but the last few months it has stopped working. I have a Raymarine Axiom 9 MFD and it reports no power to the AIS. The AIS unit has two connections at the bottom and 3 at the top. How do I know if it is receiving power, ie: Which cable is the one that carries the power to the unit? When I connect my laptop with ProAis2 a red status light comes on but it does not see the unit. I suspect this is because the unit is either faulty or the power supply is not reaching the unit. How do I check the power to the unit? I'm a little useless when it comes to this so if someone could help me determine where the power supply cable is I could try and probe it with a multimetre. Any advice is appreciated, thank you.
