You may be right- though often my computer is left on so I can leap out of bed- check boat and go back to sleep- so maybe registered as online but asleep....

Guess I now know why your swmbo, dipper, needs appeasing.. its very compulsive...

As for tonight.. its going to be a long one! And since I was not abstemious at last night's burns night supper, then slept on the boat with a F9-10 tipping us over, I'm a little tired.

I won't hold on to first- I'm too far west for the next tack, but its good to be there at least for a little while. Otherwise I'd have just been following all the other guys.

That's the problem when you become successful. You just have to try harder and harder. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif It's much easier and less addictive to potter about in the middle of the fleet.

It's good to try your own ideas out. Even the top seeds get caught out by weather updates and your route may turn out to be better.

Brain and mac- 15 minutes later, have tacked back.... so has everyone else., bar two. I'm waiting for one of them to reappear in the chat room to explain WHY.... i'm sure it will become obvious when they all overtake me, but someone needs to explain it to me....

Well my route was duff! I knew I'd lose about 6 or 7 places.. but completely cocked up, and made several stupid decisions whilst very tired. I'll blame rabbie burns.
