hi I am trying to send a PM and have sent two but they dont appear in my folder SENT PM. why?
no messages shown in sent messages

Cos you have not turned on the option to save them. Its off by default.
Go into Settings / My settings / General settings / Private messaging, select the relevant "radio button" and save the change.
