Re: Address afloat
Hi, I'm new here. My wife and I live on a narrowboat in the UK with no permanent mooring.
I found this forum searching for DVLA address problems because my wife has just had a letter from DVLA to say the MBE address in St Albans she gave them is not acceptable because it's a mail drop-off address.
She didn't tell them it was, they just knew. And they say they might send an investigating officer around to any address she gives them, to check.
Has anybody else had this problem?
We lived aboard for a couple of years a while ago and used Prime Secretarial in London ( www.prime-secretarial.co.uk ) for the DVLA, banks, etc with no problem, so maybe we'll be switching back to them!
I've dived straight in to respond to this topic, and I haven't had a good look around yet, but I'll be back later to introduce myself properly.
