This looks like one of those very insignificant but very embarrassing events.

Poor guy. But I feel sorry for the master.

I see Lord Nelson frequently down here in the Canaries and I love they they work. A bowsprit you can ride a wheelchair to the end, lifts between decks and hauling chairs up the masts.

I've sailed on Lord Nelson and the other ship (Tenacious) several times and the captains have all been very professional. This sounds like a communications foul -up. The master, of course, is ultimately responsible for the ship but I wonder what the pilot was doing at the time.

at the moment its in west india dock. You are able to climb the mast of it if you so choose
