Makes me feel a little less guilty flattening a fender when coming alongside.. "That's what they're for!!"
Perhaps he was rolling the bow off the dock, and got a bit too enthusiastic ;-)

I think this was the ship that was 'invaded' by 400 odd asylum seekers off the Indonesian coast and ended up by being boarded by Oz SAS and diverted to an Island.

Edit: Look at the above website and search for "Glasgow Maersk". You will see that it too likes to take out docks marked "No Smoking".

Wasn't me driving it. I would have used an outboard to slow it down.
