NMEA multiplexer

I fitted a multiplexer board to my boat that was working. However some wires became loose during a refit. I have lost the instructions for the board. The multiplexer board is by an Argentina company. The board is labelled "www.lehgil.com.ar Multiplex NMEA". The web link does not work. Has anybody with such a board still got the pin out instructions? My board says serial number 685 so it can't be the only one!!!!

If you're lucky, it's a rebadged version of something else that someone else might recognise.
Can you upload a picture of it?

If all else fails there are two options.
1) Buy an NMEA multiplexer from Actisense. http://www.actisense.com/products/nmea-0183/ndc4.html

If I read it correctly the parts cost for a home made one is not much over £20 plus VAT.

There's also the option of using a Raspberry Pi as an NMEA multiplexer.

Just reading that, does anyone know if its possible to use one pi as both multiplexor and wifi gateway? Or does it need two pis?

Yes. Only one pi needed. The two functions are independent of each other. You'll probably need a powered usb hub of course.
