On my boat I have only a Raymarine Dragonfly which famously has no NMEA output however I have both a Raymarine 49E which accepts an NMEA GPS input for distress location as well as Suzuki SMG4 which accepts a GPS input to calculate MPG. I'm therefore trying to figure a way of providing a GPS signal to both of these devices and was considering whether I could adapt a cheap USB GPS puck to run them, or if not perhaps another inexpensive solution? Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thank you.
