nmea 2000 and Raymarine Seatalk ng compatability

I have an nmea 2000 backbone on my boat and need to know if my plugs etc are 100% compatable with the seatalk ng system please.

Plugs are not compatible. Adapters are available. Alternatively cut off the connectors and connect up with a choc block or similar.

If you have various Raymarine devices, I would recommend setting up a SeaTalkng backbone in parallel to the nmea2000 backbone, and linking them up with a STng - nmea2000 adapter cable.

If you only have a single RM device, then just use the adapter cable to connect it direct to your nmea2000 backbone.
