Can anyone tell me whether having had a GPS antenna with NMEA 1803 spec I will lose any functionality by replacing it with an antenna spec to NMEA 2000?
Thanks

That depends... Remember that NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 only have two things in common (made by NMEA and used for boat electronics)
What kind of equipment doe you have? do you have other NMEA 2000 components.
If you have chart plotter with NMEA 2000 connection (assuming you use the GPS positionb data on a chart plotter) it will be OK,

I have a NMEA 2000 (aka N2K) network on my boat - but have a NMEA 0183 GPS for only one reason... I ordered a new set of electronics from Furuno, when i took delivery of the chart plotter, the N2K GPS was still under development...

Two totally different protocols - fortunately most NMEA 2000 have a feed for NMEA 1803.
Remember that you have to power the 2000 bus separately.
Without knowing the precise nature of your instruments I'd hesitate to pronounce further but suggest you stick with NMEA 1803 for a replacement receiver and only consider 2000 if changing everything.
