NISSAN A4.28 11 engine

My boat developed a water and oil leak from the sea water pump, having removed the pump there·s no identification name or numbers, been looking at different makes and it looks like a JABSCO 9700 model, but the seals are different, anyone know if this pump as been modified or know what pump I might have, any clues I would be gratefull.

The engine was marinised by NISSAN, but seems Nissan marine are no more.

You dont mention where you are as "sometimes here or there " makes it tricky to point you in the right direction.

There is nothing special about the usual lip seals used in Jabsco and Jabsco look alike water pumps.

If you are in the UK contact a bearing or seal supplier with the Seal OD, the width and the OD of the shaft. If in doubt about measuring, buy an electonic caliper (about £10 or less) Tell the supplier that it is for an engine oil seal (not a water seal) as you do not want EDPM as it may not be all that good with the oil side.
