I understand there are eleven entries so far! this event has become one of the best "must visit" options in the Bristol Channel with over seventy entrants in past years... we would like to make this a bumper year and hope to see a hundred entries...
 
25 boats entered now... I's a great weekend with loads for everyone to do... here's a joke to cheer you're day..

A man left for work one Friday afternoon. Instead of going home, he stayed out the entire weekend hunting with the boys and spending all his wages.
When he finally got home on Sunday night, he was confronted by his very angry wife.
After two hours, she stopped nagging and said: 'How would you like it if you didn't see me for two or three days?'
He replied: 'That would be fine with me.' Monday went by and he didn't see his wife. Tuesday and Wednesday came and went with the same results.
Thursday, the swelling went down just enough for him to see her a little out of the corner of his left eye.

The link on the BCYA site to the Google maps/uploaded photos - etc does not seem to be working.

I have some that may be of use - just tryng to see what you have on there ?

Hi Geoff... I think the original idea was to have photos embedded in a map of the Bristol Channel, whoever initiated this didn't create a solid link to the host, consequently it is lost and I don't know who originated this item, however a link to a google map of the Bristol Channel has been added pro tem, I will attempt to discover the originator and return it to the original concept, Tony

Thanks - I did just have a look and realised it was not quite as suggested - and yes - Google maps in Sat mode is really very handy for planned harbour visits - spent many a happy hour or so hovering over distant harbout entrances !

We're in the picture too, won't be there this year as our latest 'affordable' whizzer (not our gallon a mile boat in the picture which we owned for thirty years) will be in the workshop until next year at the earliest. It's great weekend and not to be missed.
 
We've been a few times and love the food fair, sadly that weekend we have to attend an all expenses weekend at York races and the John Smith's Cup so won't be able to make it
