Nimbus 365

I have a friend who has recently purchased a Nimbus 365 having moved from sailing. He is delighted with the boat but is experiencing problems with the twin electric sunshine roofs.

One failed shortly after purchase. The second one failed the other day.

Is there a simple remedy? It must be expensive to replace both motors.

Can they be converted to manual ? The proximity of electric motors and salt water does not seem a good idea to me.

Have you one any testing ,ie control fuse or limit switches or overload thermal cutout.
