Night Searcher Torch - charging voltage

These Trio torches are now Li-On powered but mine is a couple of years old and although it appears to be identical to the current model it says lead acid on the back of the casing. Can anybody confirm the correct charging voltage as I have the usual cupboard full of little mains chargers and can't work out which one came with the torch! The cigarette lighter charger which plugs into the car says nothing but I bet it's not 12 volts.

Probably doesn't help but mine is the Li-On model with both the mains charger & car charger giving 5.0V, 1.0A.

Thanks - I suspect the pre Li-On model is 6 volts but hope to get some confirmation of that.
