They certainly look robust but 35kg is a large lump to move on and off the boat.

From what I can see on the site of a similar company it's either attached under the forward part of the frame or perhaps just left in the basket.

It should be noted that they specialize in motorizing existing bikes

I tried several electric bikes.

It seems my slender 105kg frame has a significant impact on the bike's ability to climb hills. Also, having struggled to the top with me on board it I then have to coast back down to the boat to recharge the darn thing.

Clearly, this is someone telling me I should cycle more without any electrical assistance.
