Having my boat on the Medway I also have to suffer this lot! A few weeks ago I was out just off chatham docks doing a bit of fishing (just an excuse to go out really) and i counted 22 of these nutters trying to get round one of the channel markers at the same time in thickish fogg and no wind, being about 07.30 you could hear the shouting at Southend !!

Word has it the river is full of fish at the moment.rRver banks were lined with fisheremen on Sunday and the local bait shop had sold out on everything when I called in around noon.

Yea your right, one of the boats returmed with over 30 fish last week, doggies, whiting, flatties. The same guy had a 7lb bass a couple of weeks before, and his son had a 6lb.
