I saw a Proudfoot at the helm of a nice Nordhaven in the Solent this morning, smart looking boat, nice to see someone observing the masses and going in a different direction re choice of boat, very smart it was too

Well I didn't know what a Nordhaven was so I looked it up and I have decided that they are Ships not boats :)

This thread is useless without pics!! What number?

You all looked to be happy and smiling, good luck to you
Well, yes, I was smiling, two lovely ladies on the boat at the same time. And we did a few MOBs with slightly reassuring results. And Julie worked out how we could pick up a buoy. And I got my ICC (snaffled the form out of her bag when she wasn't looking).

Azur looked nice.

Number 52 in the 40 series. Launched as Annie M in 2005, sold abroad and renamed Orplid in 2010, we bought it last year and it's now Coracle. Poor boat, very confusing for it.

Picture taken ten minutes ago at Swanwick where BlueWave valeting are working their magic on some rather neglected gelcoat.

Here's another picture showing the one-and-only Nordhavn ever to go through Birdham Pool lock. I have wasted half an hour trying to include more photobucket images - all I get is "image is too large" (but they're not!) or "invalid URL". Ugh.

Must be lovely Julie to be in a boat where you can wave in a steady motion without being slammed around in one of those silly planeing hull things ??
