Nice marina in Poole?

Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay for a couple of nights during our mid july jaunt along the south coast, within walking distance of the town.

Poole Town Quay

I think Poole Town Quay is the only option really, Port of Poole or Cobbs also but you then need the tender to get to town.

Poole Quay Boat Haven is right on the quay + is right in the town, Port of Poole is a 20min walk, Cobbs Quay is a little further out of town being a 30-40 min walk into town

I found it a little noisy with pubs so close, may be better mid week, the toilet facilities weren't great but depends what you are familiar with but as said by others it's really the only choice if you want a short walk directly into town.

Tuesday night is Bike night on Poole Quay, hundreds of mtorbikes from classics to modern, home builds, trikes etc.
Friday is car night where owners of a certain marque will be invited depending on the evenings theme.

Thursday is Fireworks night I think.

Also displays at Bournemouth on a Friday if you dont mind a night time cruise back.
