nice bits on boats or boaty things

I am on loads of different boats and see lots of different things, doh!!!

OK you have got the idea, well some things I have found neat or cool or hot or whatever the in word is at the mo,
are;

A diesel power ceramic hob that worked really well.

extra fold out cleats on the bathing platform, so you don't trip over them.

seating around the helm seat or close by so the helm does not feel left out when under way.

These life jackets that are like waist coats so there is not a constant pressure on you neck when wearing them for a prolonged time.

A good sized storage dry locker that is near the helm but not close enough to inter fear with electronics that you can put phones, almanacs and more and more now, Ipads etc in

a dry bag that is all so a back pack that carry loads in but is comfortable to carry.

those are some thing that spring to mind strait away, there may be more to follow,

I have one little gadget which is really simple and fab: it's a switch which allows you to put the wipers into flick mode. Absolutely marvellous when there's just a bit of spray over the bow. A very crude system compared with what's on every modern car, of course, but very effective.
