I am looking to replace my old ( and now broken I think) ST40 Tridata Looking to see what was out there I came across Nexus - I would welcome comments if anyone got any experience / feedback on these?

Is it just an impression, or is the choice of instruments much less than it was a while ago? I have been thinking about an upgrade and have been suprised that there does not seem to be much between NASA-not a criticism here as I have them myself and they have proved very reliable- and top price stuff from Raymarine and Tac-tic- is there a decent mid-range choice?

I suspect that it is a narrowing of availability with the so-called bottom end (price-wise) uprating specification and top-end switching production to less costly manufacturing areas.
