Next Job - Throttles

I need to service the throttle controls - lubricate, etc and replace the bit of wood they're mounted on - well, were mounted on, which is why I need to replace it!

How do I get that cover off, please?

It might be a bit brittle now, but I'm pretty sure that cover pops off - I think I can see one of the retaining detents in the middle bottom.

Thanks - I wasn't sure if they were covers for screws that need to be removed, or buttons that need to be pushed in

I had the same problem - though mine is a Volvo cover (as might yours, but mine is a slightly different design (same but different). I used a screw driver to prise one side out, or it might have been in, and then it pops off. the lugs retaining it are not large.

I too was apprehensive.

Of course once you get inside - the real fun starts. The inside is a marvel of complexity.
