The next East Coast Jester meet up is planned Monday 22nd March at the Mulberry Tree in Braintree (CM77 8GG) at 7pm.

Look forward to catching up with those who can make it.

East coast meet

I've tried to be there on every one but could never found it. One time I travelled as far down as Sunderland where I thought the East coast ran out but to no avail. Have a great time anyway, dont worry about me xxx

Here you go Malcolm,

51 deg 52’ 08.86” N
00 deg 34’ 54.96” E

You found the bloody Azores. So pop that into your GPS and get down here and buy a drink!

Paul

YEH I got to the bloody Azores but I thought it was bloody Newport, I was trying to beat John Apps record for the 2006 Jester Challenge at the time. Last again !

I was so far behind, I thought I was first.

Thanks again for organising a very pleasant evening Paul.

A sailing meet this summer would be nice. I will probably definitely make that one!

As I'll be feeling bit of a billy no mates this summer knowing the Jesters are on their merry way, a summer meet is certainly on my cards if anyone else is interested.

Oi, Noddy, after you took me to task with my 'me and I's' what's all this 'probably definately' make the next one, surely it's one or tuther!!

Sorry

What I mean is that there is almost certainly very little doubt that I will be there.

I repeat:

There is very little probability that I won't be there.

Hope thats cleared it up!

P

I could maybe consider it but I think Im busy that weekend, oh no I'm not I don't think.

How about the East coast forum trip to Ostend ????. It gets you out of sight of land, a few ships, you could pretend you have seen dolphins or even whales, or quite possibly Wales. You don't really have time to grow a beard though, and probably only need one Fray Bentos pier between 4 people. So its not really solo sailing either. Oh well. Just a thought.

I think you're taking the Jester philosophy a bit too far.

I can handle a race that isn't a race but solo that isn't really solo is hard to handle.

Keep in touch over Ostende. Now you're just down the road we could meet up (assuming I'm ready to get in the water which is a story itself!!)
