Well, the new owner is keeping her there for a couple of days before moving her to West Mersea.

A week ago she was in a container from Argentina.

Seems to be. People are seeing the boats on the water in a few locations now and that is driving most of our interest. Had a lot of interest in the 29 after Burnham Week with at least one confirmed sale. The boat tests in Sailing Today, YM and PBO have also helped. Also some original buyers of the 24 want the larger ones. We are clear that we don't want to sell large numbers for a whole host of reasons.

We haven't found the Boat shows to be that effective. The costs pretty much require the sale of 4 or 5 boats to cover the expenditure. We will only do the occasional show from now on just to keep the brand awareness going.

Personally, I like the 24 most, as it is easy for me and my son to take out. I am rigging one up to be my personal boat with extra deep keel and all the electronics I can think of on a small boat. Sick of keeping demonstrators for a few Months. Will call it Puma again after the Argentine Rugby team, they seem to punch above their weight! I can feel a name change coming on again.

Considering Earls Court?

I saw the proud owners yesterday out with the polish, boat looks very smart, are these guys going to race it?

Pleased that you have had a sale Brian, hope that this one starts the ball rolling.

Yes, and a bit of East Coast cruising, but they are taking it to West Mersea on Saturday. Downsizing from a 40 footer as he can't get the crew regularly.

Probably, especially after the difficulties of getting into excel and southampton over the past couple of years. Will PM you.

Do the costs ever make it worthwhile ? I can't help thinking that the ammount they charge exhibitors , then the ammount people have to pay to get in , would be more likely to result in the majority of people looking at new boats being tyre kickers , and the serious buyer is more likely to know what he wants , or am I wrong ?
