I guess most of us on the south coast know this lovely spot.
Now, the National Trust ask for a voluntary contribution if visiting for a few hours and using your own ground tackle. Obviously overnight or using their mooring bouys is a different matter.
My query is, what is considered a reasonable voluntary contribution for a three or four hour stop?
The miserable old git part of me resents paying anything in retaliation for the years the NT made unjustified compulsory charges.
The more reasonable, smaller, part of me says the NT seem to do a good job looking after the creek, so a contribution is a good thing.
So what's fair, I usually pay a fiver for 25ft boat.
