Newtown Creek, IOW

Hello,

Could someone please advise me the situation regarding anchoring/visitors buoys in Newtown Creek?

Have stopped there for lunch before but not sure who to contact to stay overnight.

there is a little National trust man in a boat who will come and take your money for an over night stay or even a short stay if he catches you. Stopping on the Bouys costs more but geves you piece of mind.

I understood that he can't now charge you for anchoring, but can ask for a donation.

My understanding as told to me is, No charge for anchoring,But may be approached for a donation for the national trust,You can not pre book mooring bouys,First come ect. you do not have to acecpt any other boat rafting to you when on bouys .But if you wish only one boat can raft on you.A charge will be made for both boat.
