Condor saves 5 people on stricken vessel in the channel. The yacht was hit by a vessel as they were making there way from Dielette to the Hamble and the crew were rescued by Condor as it was on its way from Poole to Guernsey.

Yes it was - and the report in the Guernsey Evening Press told how the rescue took place. It seems the rescue crew from the Condor were brilliant in their efforts according to Company management and incompetant according to the passengers who watched from the Condor. Take your pick!
