**News Flash**
The test flights of BG1.1. Have now been successfully completed.
The first flight test was to accelerate BG1.1 to a speed of approximately 500 miles per hour and a height of 35,000 feet. Maintaining this height and speed for some two and a half hours.
BG1.1 past this test with flying colours. Grateful thanks to Rolls Royce for there help in providing the power.
Test number two was to haul BG1.1 to the top of Englanders mast, it’s thought that this test was probably passed too. But it went out of sight nearly cos of the length of the mast.
The third and final test was to but BG1.1 in pride of place on the errr. Bow flag pole (it must have a proper name), where it looked very regal and all were impressed by its majesty.
There was going to be a fourth test, to see how BG1.1 performed in tropical temperatures. But it pissed down all week..
After the ceremony, BG1.1 Laid in state on Collins big table, whilst we drunk loads of beer to celebrate the auspicious occasion.
Informed today that BG1.1’s brothers and sisters wont be coming out to play till Monday. So I’ll be down there first thing to ring the blokes neck!!
Have you sent off Your Stamped. SAE and cheque. Yet.
