Newbridge Topaz

I have recently bought a Newbridge Topaz, a lovely looking boat in my opinion . Small and light.

LOA:17.5'
Beam:6.5'
Draft:1.67'
Displ. :800 lbs
build: early 70's
I know little about how they perform, although I read of someone sailing one from north Wales to Scotland.
They do not have a self draining cockpit.
I would love to hear from anyone that has any knowledge of these boats. There not many around!

Hi, I have just purchased a Topaz as well and I am based on Hayling Island, I know nothing about them either other than it should make a nice harbour boat in Chichester Harbour. Just starting a complete strip down for a refit. Mine is fitted with a newish rig which by the looks of it is the same size as an Enterprise dinghy, so a little smaller than the original.
