The consensus seems to favour the Olde Barn, Marston, Nr. Newark, on Wednesday, the 2nd of Feb.

I will sort out numbers, check out on availability of food and advise pub as necessary. Don't know the place myself and haven't got time to recce in person, but will sort by phone.

Please pm me, and post here, if you would like to attend, I will find out what food is available and post details later in the week.

From the South..

Follow the A1 north past Gt Gonerby roundabout (just north of where the A52 from Nott'ham joins the A1)... you'll see signs turning right off the A1 to the hotel which is in the village of Marston (East of the A1)

From the North its the same, but looks for the turn to the left about 5 miles south of Newark

PS Noah misheard...... Mrs Noah was saying something along the lines of... "Noah, get off your bleedin' ark....."

There is a Texaco petrol station on the corner where you turn. If you are coming from the South you need to travel up from the roundabout in the outside lane otherwise you can get boxed in and miss the turning.
Is anyone having something to eat? Dosn't bother me either way but don't want to have a meal at home and then have to sit there and watch U lot eat a decent steak...or similar. Paul
