We will be there even if the weather is shocking. No avoiding us spongers mate.
I have a case of Claret saved for the event. I will also bring oranges, cinnamon and cloves, together with our genuine Deutsche Gluhwein cups.

hee hee.... take a look at Metcheck for Ipswich...... they have a few Gremlins, and are currently forecasting rather excessive winds..... I might give it a miss if thats the case... otherwise, couldn't agree more!
No plans to go anywhere NYE, but perhaps anchor for the night NY day.... or maybe we'll head over to Harwich and Halfpenny pier NYE.... who knows.... we'll make it up as we go along.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Having been given assurances from trusted forumites about the ebespacher i shall be giving still dunno a winter airing.....stuff work.....and journeying to shotley tomorrow....
anyone availble to catch the lines will if course be appreciated....

With regret I have to inform that self and good lady will be unable to attend, as her knocking off time has now been confirmed and due to this, we shall be off to the local gardening centre for 20-00 hrs /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

As she's just gone to bed she decided to let me off the hook, it seems she has been winding me up it's actually a charity fund raising event run by the employees of Baytree nurseries. Thought it was some kind of late night garden sale for a while, but it's a proper dance and bar type event where the bar is private so stays open until enough cash has been raised for the charity they support. So it sounds a lot better than I first thought.
Dancing into the early hours with a good local DJ and a bar open until they choose to go home, can't be too bad after all
