Major Catastrophe

For the second New Years Day in succession I managed to get out on the water, this time my boat was not frozen, so I was able to use it, but I did have to use some hot water therapy to get the tell tail to produce some water.
We set off at 10AM in glorious sunshine and headed past Caernarfon and out into the bay to Pilot's Cove.
Lovely and calm with snow on the mountains.
With full day of events ahead of us, including ten pin bowling and go karting, we turned around and headed back.
But first we check out the itinerants parked in Abermenai. Note the prominent anchoring balls. When I mentioned their absence I was met with a V for Victory sign from Phil.
The castle was framed by snow clad mountains.
The final run home was a blast.
After that, the go karting in a blizzard was interesting.
The next day I woke up to discover that the value of my property had been halved in value as Captain Calamity and his crew attempted and then tried a few more times to attach Briza to the land outside my house.
They managed it eventually and Briza is the now the first thing I see when I look out the window.
I will admit that on New Years Day I suffered a 'Locking In' malfunction and even though I was facing forward when I entered the lock, I exited it backwards!
