Can anyone recommend a company to make up some new Washboards for me?? I'm looking for some nice solid teak rather than the cheaper marine-ply jobbies.

Would be handy if they are south coast/solent based.

Any recommendations?

Cheers G

My plywood washboards got kicked in some years back. I found some 3/16 inch thick aluminium which works well and is a real deterent to "visitors"
I guess you are worried about what it looks like but I always remove wash boards on boarding so never see them anyway. just a thought..... olewill

I used Polywood - very tough, white opaque "plastic wood". Utterly maintenance free, no risk of warping, swelling etc, and visually good on plastic boat. Works like wood. Vetus did sell 8X4 sheets min order 5 for about £1200 (!!!!) but kindly put me on to client in Corby who made to my emailed drawing and despatched to me promptly for what I thought was a reasonable price. Will post details if required.
