I've just knocked together part 11, although it's only short.

This one is a bit different in that I am now using Final Cut to edit the vids, and my gosh has that been a learning curve. I hope you like the new feel, and now I have the power to do anything with the edits, I hope it will only get better.

Oh, make sure you listen on a good soundsystem. That keel slam comes to life when you have decent speakers.

they get better each time. I hear what you mean about the keel noise - shivery stuff !

Oh, um, from personal experience.... it might be worth doing something protective about those exposed bolt threads from the winch / fittings on the deck head. So far, hlb's D holds the forum record for the amount of gore on board, and it would be a shame to have to change your ID to Scarpate.

Keep plugging on.

You should see the full extent of it. EVERY deck fitting (and there are a lot) has exposed bolts, at least 1cm in length. Luckily, they are areas my head rarely visits, but I am conscious that they need sorting; I'm just not sure how.

P.S. You have beady eyes. :p

Cut them off.

The easiest way I have found is with a Dremel drill with a cut-off blade.
The only issue the where the hot off-cuts end up.
I had one embedded in my shoe and a few minor burn marks on the sole boards.

as a temporary fix, could you squeeze some sikaflex or similar mastic round them ? Might not look very smart but it's better than gouging out your eye if you have a knockdown.
