hi, i'm looking for recomendations for a used boat to the following specs

aluminium hull

sail and engine powered or engine powered cruiser suitable for one person to manage

adequate living quarters

strong/big enough to for coastal waters and hopping across the channel and similar bodies of water

Sounds like the sort of boat that will have to live in a marina or on a mooring. Aluminium hulls are rare in these sizes, partly because they go "fizz" when they are subjected to the kinds of stray electrical currents which are common in marinas. Sven Lundin watched his aluminium yacht "Bris", which had taken him around The Horn, dissolve within 12 months in an American marina.

Hi, are you sure you know of al the draw backs of an aluminium hull? Aluminium scares me more than stainless steel.
