New Teak Decks from Turkey

Some months back, someone told of having their teak decks laid in Turkey.

A fellow member of the Cruising association is asking for information on this. Can anyone help?

I seem to remember there was an article in YM some time ago by Rod Heikell, who had used a yard near Bodrum to put teak decks on his boat. Apparently v good value. You could try contacting him via YM or at rheikell@nildram.co.uk (not sure whether this is still a correct email address though).

Thanks. Yes I remember that article -it was in the "Blue Water" notes. There was another forum poster who had this work done as I remember.
